Change

With just having the Easter long weekend you may have found that you had some downtime to yourself.

You know that time when you sit back and relax.

Now, it’s at those times you tend to think about and realise those things you want to change in your life.

Change is something you should grow to love, embrace and enjoy.

We all know, as a species we like things to stay the same, we generally don’t like change to happen to much.

I’m as guilty as the next person for this.

When it comes to The Fox Den, if I didn’t embrace change then it would stagnate and not move forward and just over time cease to exist.

It’s the same with us, if we don’t change things up, we become stagnate, our lives become dull and we tend to stop appreciating those things around us.

A lot of us get stuck and say it’s always been this way, or this is how it works.

Well, you know what?

Things in your life don’t have to be that way.

You can change things at any fucking time you want.

You are the master of your own destiny.

If you have people that rely on you then you may need to have a conversation or two, especially if it is a massive change like a job etc.

The biggest thing to do with change is the following, it doesn’t matter what the change is.

If you think you can do it, YOU WILL!!!!

Guess what?

The same goes the other way.

If you think you can’t do it, YOU WON’T

Apart from Death and Taxes, change is the only other thing you can be sure will happen.

Stuff changes.

Life keeps moving.

Tech changes

What people want changes.

People change. If you are the same person at 50 as you were at 21 then you really need to have a think about things.

If you’re looking at changing things then yep, it’s scary as fuck and no one knows what the future might hold.

Change is scary.

Especially if you don’t know what the outcome is going to be.

You know what though, if you keep moving forward towards that change a little bit each day then it happens without it being a massive change all at once.

If you want to change you need to do it.

Yes, others can help along the way, guide you etc, like a coach or other people to support you along the way, but ultimately you need to do the work.

What I am trying to say is, if you’re currently not happy with something in your life then it doesn’t mean it needs to stay that way.

What was working then doesn’t mean it will work now.

The coach I was when I first started isn’t the coach I am now.

Change is growth and growth is good.

Embrace that and make it your allies.
