FEAR

Sometimes in life the biggest thing that holds us back is our fear.

We can sit there at the beginning of the journey and be afraid of what is in front of us, it could be a long road and it and can be painful, and we are afraid of what might happen.

We must then start to think like fuck it, what’s the worst that happen.

We fail.

Failure is generally the worst possible outcome of the journey, and you know what it’s not that bad when you think about it.

I mean, every single successful person has failed at some point in their live in the journey to get to where they are currently.

It goes without saying, you can’t be perfect, and no journey is.

Fear holds us back.

If what you are doing totally aligns itself with you and your beliefs and is truly what you want to be doing, then Fear can force you to quit because you become afraid of what might happen when you get there.

Also, if you know what you are doing isn’t working then Fear can kick in and you can become afraid of quitting it, afraid of what may happen and what others will think.

Fear is the most powerful force that stops you achieving everything you want.

We know a change in lifestyle and that fat loss or health journey is hard and will be hard especially at the beginning, so we simply avoid starting because we are afraid of the pain.

The best way to overcome fear is to stop focusing on the end result but to break that journey down into smaller more manageable chunks.

That way it become more accessible and then you can tick those markers of as you go.

Fear acts by preventing you from doing what you want to do.

Fear also acts by preventing you stopping doing what you don’t want to do.

You can do a little exercise here, right now.

Whatever you are doing the journey you want to make, it could be Fat Loss, Health, Work, Relationships, I want you to write down all your fears about why you shouldn’t start it or why if it’s not working why, you shouldn’t quit it.

Get it out of your head.

Then reread them and write next to them all the reasons why you should do it or should quit it.

Throughout your journey though the Fear will continue to pop up, it will do, that is what it does. It feeds of the little doubts etc and makes them grow into massive trees.

However, I want you to remember that when that happens you just need to remind yourself, you are doing great, you are ok, and this is normal but also, I want you to remember and tell yourself this.

Fuck it! What’s the worst that can happen.
