Fury of the Gods

Fury of the Gods

Last weekend I had the pleasure of watching the latest Shazam movie and had a bloody time, it’s a film about a kid that is given superhero powers, in fact he is given the power of the gods.

If you haven’t watched the first one then do so, they are both great fun.

Anyway, what follows may be a couple of spoilers but heh fuck it, it’s been out a week, why are you still waiting.

So, in the Fury of the Gods, three gods come back to take the power back from whoever has it and then one wants to destroy the world etc.

So far the usual type of superhero movie, if you want something with a lot more meaning in it then look at your movie choices.

At one point in the movie a massive sacrifice has to be made for the good of the world and everyone and it got me thinking.

Yep, it got me thinking like most of these do.

Now, here is the tenuous link through to how this can be brought into your own life.

If you want to make a change in your life, to feel better, stronger, fitter more confident etc then you will also need to make some sacrifices.

The amount of times I have had people come in and say they want to do this and that but want it to work around their current lifestyle.

It never works.

Remember it’s your current lifestyle that has got you there, so if you want to change, then guess what, you need to change your lifestyle, make those sacrifices.

So, whilst Shazam makes the ultimate sacrifice for the best of the world, ask yourself what are you really willing to sacrifice to get you to where you want to be.

What is it you want to achieve?

How will go about that?

Then work out what in your current lifestyle are you willing to sacrifice to get there?

Because, you will have too.
