The Foxes Gauntlet Is Coming — Are You In?

The Foxes Gauntlet Is Coming — Are You In?

It’s back.

The next round of Fox Den Games is here, and this time we’re cranking it up a notch.

Welcome to The Foxes Gauntlet — a pairs-only fitness showdown built to test your strength, endurance, grit, and possibly your friendship.

What is The Foxes Gauntlet?

Three 20-minute workouts.
Three different challenges.
One epic day.

  • One Strength Workout – Bring the power. Think lifts, slams, and maybe some “why did I agree to this?” moments.
  • One Endurance Workout – Settle in. Dig deep. This one’s about the long game.
  • One Cardio Workout – The engine check. Heart rate will be up, sweat will be dripping, lungs will be screaming (in a good way).

But here’s the thing — this isn’t just about fitness. It’s about pushing past what you think you’re capable of, together.

Real People. Real Effort. Zero Bullshit.

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: you do not need to be an elite athlete to take part.

In fact, we’re counting on it.

At the last Fox Den Games, we saw everyday people doing things that most of them didn’t think they could. And it was bloody brilliant.

This one’s no different.

You’ll show up nervous. You’ll warm up wondering why you signed up. And by the end? You’ll feel like you take on the world and save it from all the absolute twats in it.

Pairs-Only Format — Bring a Mate, Drag Them Through Hell (Lovingly)

You’ll enter as a same-sex or mixed pair, and you’ll be in one of two categories:

  • Challenge – For those that train and are building confidence, and just want to see what they can do, or are just here for a sweaty day with a mate.
  • Compete – For those who want to push hard, lift heavy, and see what their body can do under pressure.

But no matter which category you choose, this will test you.

You’ll need your teammate. You’ll take turns picking each other up. You’ll probably shout encouragement… and maybe profanities. But you won’t be alone.

And that’s what makes it special.

Why You’ll Love (and Slightly Hate) It

Let’s be honest:

  • It’ll be sweaty.
  • It’ll be tough.
  • It’ll absolutely be worth it.

You’ll call us every name under the sun, and we will love it; in fact, we get stronger from it and feed off it. You’ll ask why wall balls exist. You might wonder if it’s legal to disown your partner halfway through a sled push.

But when you cross that final line — knowing you gave it your all — there’s nothing like it.

The Gauntlet isn’t about smashing PBs or showing off. It’s about proving to yourself that you can do hard things. That you’re stronger than your excuses. That your limits aren’t where you thought they were.

Clear Scoring, No-Nonsense Rules, Just Grit

We’re keeping things clear and fair.

No faff. No weird scoring systems. Just honest work, well judged, with winners and goodie bags and high fives all round.

You’ll be judged properly. You’ll be coached if needed. And yes, there’ll be trophies for the top of the tree in each category.

But everyone gets the same thing: a proper test of character and a massive buzz from getting it done.

Who Is It For?

The Foxes Gauntlet is for anyone ready to step up and show up.

You train a few times a week and want to test yourself?
You’ve just started but want to prove you’re stronger than you thought?
You want a challenge with a bit of heart and soul behind it?
You love a comp but hate the bro type bullshit nonsense that sometimes comes with them?

This is for you.

Don’t Wait Until You’re “Ready”

If you’re reading this and thinking, “Maybe next time…”
Stop it.

There is no perfect time.
You’ll never feel 100% ready. But you will feel 100% proud that you showed up and did it anyway.

You’re not just doing this for reps and rounds.
You’re doing it to find out what you’re made of — and maybe remind yourself that you’re not made of glass and break at the slightest thing, and you’re capable of a hell of a lot more than you give yourself credit for.

Let’s Go

So, are you in?

The Foxes Gauntlet is waiting.
All you need is a bit of courage, a good partner, and the willingness to give it your all.

Grab your teammate. Pick your category. And let’s go.
